Care throughout Enfield

Local collection, individual care

We arrange individual pet cremation for families across Enfield, including Edmonton, Palmers Green, Southgate and Enfield Town. You can ask for collection from home or discuss collection from a veterinary practice after authorising release. The booking starts with a few practical details about your pet and their location, leaving you time to ask questions about individual care and bringing their ashes home.

Individual cremation gives you a clear choice when you want your pet's ashes returned. We explain the arrangements before collection, record your pet's details and help you understand what will happen next. You can ask questions at any stage; you do not need to make every decision about remembrance at the same time as organising collection.

A quote is a starting point for your own pet and address. Tell us whether your pet has already died or whether you are planning ahead, and whether they are at home or with a vet. If your pet is still alive and needs medical help, contact your veterinary practice; this page is for cremation arrangements.

Arranging collection from home or a vet

When organising a collection in Enfield, the most useful details are the address, your pet's approximate size and any access issues. Tell us if you need to coordinate with a family member who holds a key, or if a building manager must let a visitor in. If you would like time for a goodbye, discuss that before the collection is agreed rather than assuming a particular arrival window. We can explain what happens at handover and how your pet is identified. You should not feel you need to make every decision about memorial items before asking for a quote.

You can choose your own cremation provider. If a veterinary practice is caring for your pet, tell it your choice and confirm its release requirements before collection. Check whether another aftercare arrangement has already been authorised. Let the practice know who will collect your pet, and share its contact details with our team so the handover can be agreed.

Areas we cover in Enfield

Our service covers addresses throughout London Borough of Enfield. Some neighbourhoods extend across council boundaries; the places below refer to the parts within this borough.

  • Enfield Town
  • Enfield Lock
  • Edmonton
  • Edmonton Green
  • Palmers Green
  • Southgate
  • New Southgate
  • Winchmore Hill
  • Ponders End
  • Brimsdown
  • Bush Hill Park
  • Cockfosters

Enfield Town, Bush Hill Park and the northern neighbourhoods

Enfield Town, Bush Hill Park, Enfield Lock and Brimsdown are within our coverage. Give the full postcode and a contact number for whoever will be present. If your property is reached through a shared gate or along an access road, explain where a visitor should enter. These directions help us plan the collection around your home without relying on a general town-centre location.

Edmonton, Edmonton Green and Ponders End

We help families in Edmonton, Edmonton Green and Ponders End with the same individual cremation service. If a pet is at a veterinary practice, confirm the branch and ask what it needs to release your pet to your chosen provider. The person arranging cremation may be different from the registered owner at the practice, so making that relationship clear early can avoid a difficult extra call.

Palmers Green, Southgate and Winchmore Hill

Collection coverage extends to Palmers Green, Southgate, New Southgate, Winchmore Hill and Enfield addresses in Cockfosters. Some neighbourhood names cross council boundaries. Your full postcode lets us check the precise location and discuss availability. If your pet is with a vet elsewhere, use the practice's address for that check and record your chosen ashes-return address separately.

Cremation prices starting from £154

Dog cremation in Edmonton, Southgate and the rest of Enfield includes individual cremation and the agreed return of ashes. About dog cremation

Cat cremation in Enfield

Cremation prices starting from £124

For cat cremation in Enfield, tell us whether your cat is at home or in veterinary care. If you want a collar, blanket or carrier kept, ask about that before handover and make the request explicit. Agreeing what accompanies your cat and what is returned helps avoid assumptions about items with personal meaning.

About cat cremation

Small-pet cremation

Cremation prices starting from £94

Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds and other small companions matter just as much to their families. Tell us the species and approximate size so we can explain the appropriate arrangements. Individual cremation is available for small pets too; do not assume it is only an option for dogs and cats. If your pet is in a carrier or has a favourite blanket, ask what can accompany them and which belongings you would like kept. Make those requests before handover so the team can confirm what is possible.

About rabbit cremation

Starting prices are for cremation itself. Use the form for your personalised quote, including collection and return of ashes.

From collection to bringing the ashes home

  1. Agree the arrangements

We confirm your pet's details, the collection location and your contact information. Tell us about access, your wishes for the ashes and any personal items you would like kept. Ask for clarification if something is unclear before you authorise the service.

  2. Collection and identification

Your pet's identity is recorded for the care journey. Check that the name and owner details on the booking are correct, particularly when collection is from a vet or someone else has helped organise it. The team can explain identification and tracking before handover.

  3. Individual cremation

With individual cremation, your pet is cremated separately and their ashes are prepared for return to you. If you are comparing aftercare options, ask specifically whether the service is individual and whether ashes are returned, so you are comparing the arrangements you actually want.

  4. Bringing the ashes home

Our usual ashes-return timescale is 7-9 working days. Confirm the return address and who will receive them. If your plans change, contact the team before the return is organised. A collection address is not automatically the right place to return the ashes.

★★★★★

Incredible empathetic, efficient service. Would 100% recommend - This is not an easy decision to make and I’m glad I chose Pet Cremation UK

Losing a dog is just as hard as losing a human, a dog is not just a pet, but a part of your family. So, choosing a cremation service to go with is an extremely difficult decision. I spoke to about 6 different companies to ensure I made the right decision, wanting the perfect send off my best friend. I was a bit skeptical at first about choosing this service (probably because they’re so new), but wow I am so impressed. From moment 1 of speaking to the person on the phone and booking the appointment, it was empathetic and efficient. They explained to me everything I needed to know and more. We booked on Monday and they came round on Thursday. They provided me a time slot in the morning and they arrived exactly in that time slot. Both the vet and the collection person arrived at the same time. The vet was incredibly empathetic and friendly, he also explained the process slowly, thoroughly and clearly, treating both my dog and my family with respect. The vet gave us the option of at what pace we want it to go at & once the process was complete, he expressed his regards, left us to grieve and told us that we can take as long as we need, the collection/cremation person was outside when we’re ready. Once we decided we were ready, the collection person came in and introduced himself, expressed his condolences and discussed our option for removal of the body. The options were a body bag (which is a massive big no no), or a box/unit. We chose the box and were allowed to put her in the box ourselves, wrapping her in her favourite blanket. He also informed us that we can put a toy or anything else we’d like in with her and that it can be cremated with her. Between my dog leaving our home and returning back to us as ashes, we were provided with a tracker link. The link updates you on, when your pet has arrived at the cremation location, when they have been cremated and when they are on their way back to you. My dog arrived back within 13 days, a tracking link for delivery was provided, and delivered by DHL. I was a bit uncomfortable with the ashes being returned via a courier and not privately delivered, however it was delivered with care. The packaging ensured it had on it in big bold letters a message for the driver, stating “must be signed for, do not leave with neighbour or on doorstep”. We opted in for the personalised urn/box, which also came with fur clippings, a certificate of cremation, a paw print, a keyring which is a urn with a nice message on it, of which you can place your pets ashes into, so they are always with you. The cover of the box has your pets name on it, alongside a nice empathic message “always remembered, never forgotten”. Inside the box was also a very kind, empathetic message from the company expressing their condolences. I have no complaints at all about this service. Pet Cremation UK truly were fantastic, beginning to end. They made myself and my family feel really satisfied and helped us through this extremely difficult time. Thank you Pet Cremation UK. I hope this review helps some of you in your decision, as I know it’s an extremely difficult one to make. Sorry it’s a bit long, I just wanted to ensure some of you get the clarity I was looking for. Sorry for all of you that have lost your family member, just remember they’re no longer suffering and they’re waiting for us up above, just like they would wait for us to come home from work/school. They’ll always be with us. 🤍

Questions about pet cremation in Enfield

Do you cover both Edmonton and Southgate?

Yes. Edmonton, Southgate, Palmers Green and Enfield Town are all included, together with the other Enfield neighbourhoods listed here. Collection timing is confirmed for the full address and the arrangements required for your pet.

Can I organise collection while a relative is at the house?

Yes, provided the authorisation and contact details are clear. Tell us who is arranging the service and who will meet the collector. Give the relative any information needed for access and let us know which number should receive updates.

Can you arrange same-day collection in Enfield?

Same-day collection may be available, subject to the address and available capacity. Contact us as early as you can; our usual same-day booking cut-off is 4pm. The team confirms availability for your booking. Our phone support is available 7am–midnight daily, and you can request an online quote at any time.

Will I receive only my own pet's ashes?

Individual cremation means your pet is cremated separately and their ashes are returned to you. We record identification details as part of the care process. If you want to understand how your pet is identified between collection and return, ask the team to explain it before booking.

What information do I need for a quote?

Start with your pet's name, species and approximate size, and tell us whether they have already passed away. The quote flow asks for the contact and postcode details needed to check your arrangements. You can ask for help if you do not know the weight or are arranging care on someone else's behalf.

Can I plan ahead without arranging collection now?

Yes. You can use the quote form to explain that your pet has not passed away yet and discuss the options. Ask about the next step rather than booking a collection you do not yet need. For advice about your pet's health, comfort or treatment, speak to your vet.

Can I choose a different address for returning the ashes?

Tell us the address and person you would like to receive the ashes when agreeing the arrangements. Our usual return timescale is 7-9 working days. If you will be away or staying with relatives, discuss this in advance and update the team if your plans change before the return is organised.
