Care throughout Bexley
Local collection, individual care
Our Bexley pet cremation service covers Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Welling, Erith and the borough's other communities. We arrange individual cremation for dogs, cats and small pets, with collection and ashes return agreed with you. You may know your address by its town name or use Kent in the postal address; the full postcode is what we need to check the collection location.
Individual cremation gives you a clear choice when you want your pet's ashes returned. We explain the arrangements before collection, record your pet's details and help you understand what will happen next. You can ask questions at any stage; you do not need to make every decision about remembrance at the same time as organising collection.
A quote is a starting point for your own pet and address. Tell us whether your pet has already died or whether you are planning ahead, and whether they are at home or with a vet. If your pet is still alive and needs medical help, contact your veterinary practice; this page is for cremation arrangements.
Arranging collection from home or a vet
A Bexley booking can involve three different people: the owner authorising care, a relative organising it and someone at the collection address. Tell us if that is your situation and agree one main contact for updates. At home, mention stairs, gates and any difficulty moving your pet. At a vet, the practice's release arrangements must be confirmed. You can ask about a preferred time, but wait for availability to be agreed before asking relatives to travel. The ashes-return address is recorded separately, which is useful if you will be staying with family after collection.
You can choose your own cremation provider. If a veterinary practice is caring for your pet, tell it your choice and confirm its release requirements before collection. Check whether another aftercare arrangement has already been authorised. Let the practice know who will collect your pet, and share its contact details with our team so the handover can be agreed.
